Attending music festivals is a beloved American tradition. The mixture of music, culture, arts, and kindred spirits creates a wonderful experience that will be forever embedded in any music lover’s mind. That’s why the organizer of the Peach Music Festival has slowly and surely made this weekend's event a spectacle worth seeing. Launched by the Legendary Allman Brothers Band in 2012, the festival began as an annual concert in Scranton. Every year, the band brings in more performers until it has grown into a full-fledged music festival covering several days. Since 2012, the Peach Music Festival has been celebrated every year, with the exception of 2020 due to the pandemic.
Over the years, the festival has brought in big names, such as String Cheese Incident, Santana, Trey Anastasio, Phil Lesh, members of Grateful Dead, Joe Bonamassa, Gov’t Mule, and plenty more. The event not only offers renowned artists but also provides up-and-coming bands the avenue to perform in a packed crowd. Genres featured in the past include rock, progressive rock, blues, alternative, indie, pop, jazz, funk, and more.
This 2023, Tedeschi Trucks Band will be making their phenomenal return. Meanwhile, My Morning Jacket and Goose have also performed on Peach's big stage in the past. Ween, however, will be gracing the festival’s stage for the very first time. Like its predecessors, 2023’s line-up has a wide range of performers with different music styles. Deadheads can rejoice as the famous Grateful Dead tribute band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, will hit the stage. Less Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade will also be making an appearance. Other performers include Andy Frasco & the U.S., Trouble No More, Lawrence, and Magic City Hippies.
Every year, music fans can take advantage of the festival's various types of accommodation, including camping sites, RV Parking, glamping packages, and more. Spectators will also enjoy access to the ski resort, fun activities, food, and dibs on band merchandise.
Peach Music Festival will light up The Pavilion at Montage Mountain for the tenth time. The iconic venue has been the perfect destination for a mega music fest since the beginning. The venue can house up to 16,000 guests, and various facilities ensure that concertgoers and campers have the ultimate festival experience.
