It's been 11 years of live music! The Peach Music Festival is back at Montage Mountain Pavilion from Thursday, June 29th through Sunday, July 2nd, 2023. Get your 4-day pass here! The festivities will honor 11 years of live music inspired by the Allman Brothers Band, plus the 50th anniversary of Brothers and Sisters. With a lineup of artists that color way outside the lines, including Goose, Tedeschi Trucks Band, My Morning Jacket, and Ween, who will each headline a night of the four-day camping fest. In addition to over 50 artists, The Peach has food and artisan vendors on the grounds, as well as access to Montage Mountain Ski Resort's enormous water park.
In addition to the headliners, Trouble No More, the Allmans-approved tribute band that recreates the band's music, will perform Brothers and Sisters in its entirety. Members include guitar legends Brandzon "Taz" Niederaurer and Daniel Donato, as well as drummer Nikki Glaspie. The album was released by the Allman Brothers in 1973, and this year marks its 50th anniversary.
The Peach will also feature a guest appearance by Allman drummer and founding member Jaimoe, who will perform as Jaimoe and Friends. Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade, Mike Gordon of Phish, Lettuce, Ripe, and Twiddle, who announced a farewell tour in November. The bill also includes Duane Betts, Dogs in a Pile, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Circles Around the Sun, and Andy Frasco & the U.N. to name but a few.
The Peach Music Festival has swiftly established itself as one of the most popular summer music festivals in the north. The Allman Brothers Band founded the event in 2012, and it attracts some of the best musicians in alternative rock, folk, blues, country, and more. There's something here for everyone, regardless of musical taste. The entire festival is held outside and is ideal for nature lovers, not to mention the mountain backdrop and all the fresh air will have you feeling fantastic and sleeping well all night. There are two stages, the Peach Stage and the smaller Mushroom Stage, both located inside the water park, where you can enjoy live music while floating down the lazy river, or you can head to the larger Peach Stage and join the crowd, who will undoubtedly be dancing the weekend away.
The environment is breathtaking, and the outdoor amphitheater gives a lovely backdrop against which to enjoy the music. The adjacent ski resort has been transformed into a water park, and festival attendees have unlimited access to cool down in the water or try out the zip-lines. The festival is ideal for campers and RVers alike, with RV and camping sites available. For those who are camping or parking off-site, free shuttles provide convenient transportation to and from the event.
