From old school rockers to new school smashers – Pavilion at Montage Mountain delivered a high intensity hardcore rager featuring A Day to Remember, Story So Far, and Four Year Strong. Massive breakdowns and tremendous moshing filled the venue and people who enjoyed this show the most probably got some cuts and bruises. July came with a remarkable adrenaline rush. Country music fans had a grand time when superstar Dierks Bentley came in with his Gravel and Gold Tour. This staggering gig was also supported by fellow country purveyors and rising stars Chase Rice and Kaitlin Butts. The tour was a smashing spectacle as the multi awarded country singer delivered his number 1 hits (he’s got plenty of ‘em) and it was pretty much the most exhilarating setlist country music lovers ever experienced that season.
Heavy metal fans had great reason to rejoice in July as the arrival of Halestorm and I Prevail definitely turned up the Pavilion at Montage Mountain. The show brought in the most headbang worthy hits as these two headliners tore it up with their hard hitting catalogs. Hollywood Undead and Fit for A King joined this tremendous spectacle and gave the show some hype before the headliners hit the stage.
AUGUST
The season was sizzling with fantastic spectacles and Pavilion at Montage Mountain was supercharged for the month of August. The Electric City Rocks presented by Pennsylvania’s favorite rock radio station 97.9X mounted a thrilling festival headlined by 311, Live, with performances by Awolnation, Neon Trees, and Des Rocs. SEPTEMBER
Before saying farewell to summer, Pavilion at Montage Mountain made sure to deliver the biggest, loudest, most raging shows ever. September brought in incredible bonanzas including the heaviest heavy metal show of them all – Falling in Reverse’ The Popular Monstour II. Falling in Reverse tore up the town with hits like “Zombified,” “Voices in My Head,” “Popular Monster,” and “Ronald.” The show also featured sets by special guests Dance Gavin Dance, Black Veil Brides, Tech N9NE, and Jeris Johnson.
One day after this heavy showdown, old school rockers Deep Purple came to town. The band turned this rager into a grand celebration – 50 years of Smoke on the Water to be exact. The 1 More Time Tour may be the band’s last hurrah on the road as the original hard rockers delivered highly influential tracks like “Smoke on the Water,” “Black Night,” “Into the Fire,” and tons more.
